Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival 2016

The 2016 Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday May 21 and 22 at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis. The annual two day festival helps raise money for local charities.

Guitarist Joe Bonamassa will headline the festival. Bonamassa began his career opening for B.B. King in 1989, when he was only 12 years old.

The Robert Cray Band will close on Saturday. This will be Robert Cray's second appearance at CBBF, his first being in 2000.

Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary 30th Anniversary Celebration

On Saturday, October 3, 2015, the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary (JBWS) will host an anniversary celebration and concert at the Glendening Nature Preserve (Plummer House).

The FREE anniversary celebration will feature a climbing wall, hayrides, live animals, touch-a-truck, kids’ zone, guided hikes, food, local vendors, gift bag giveaways, native milkweed planting, and more.

During the celebration, visitors will enjoy live music throughout the day from the Jug Bay Jug Band, Bridgette Michaels, Rockfish, and The Back Pages.
